Quiet Saturday

Started pruning my roses, sat quietly watching white-plumed honeyeaters (Lichenostomus penicillatus) in my John Evans grevillea, and enjoyed the beauty of the fully-open flowers of my Chayya vireya.

this is one flower i don't know, but i should as it's beautiful.
i Winter sprayed my roses yesterday after pruning them one week earlier.

it's a rhodo, so i do know it, they start to flower around September up here.
